About the salon
The salon was opened in 2001 by AWARD-WINNING nail technician Belinda Price. Located in Scissett, Huddersfield, it offers a full range of nail and beauty treatments.
Belinda says:
Sixteen years ago I opened my own salon, Nailspa, on the outskirts of Huddersfield. The salon quickly grew and three years after opening, we were able to expand. Over the years I have built an excellent team of technicians and therapists who work well together and provide high quality treatments.
Many of the clients I have today have been with me from the beginning
– a testimony to the customer care and high levels of service offered.
In the last few years, Belinda has been a first place winner ten times in both national and international competitions. She has been a finalist in the British Beauty and Spa Awards 2008 & 2009 for the `Nail Professional of the Year’, in The Professional Beauty Awards both Belinda and the salon have been finalists in 2008 and 2010, winning Nail Salon of the Year 2010 . Recently gaining a `Highly commended` award in the Scratch Stars independent nail salon of the year. She regularly writes for professional beauty magazines as a 'nail guru’. She is currently taking a break from competition and awards after winning an award in 2014, she is often seen judging and sharing her knowledge at seminars. All four of her daughters have worked in the salon, and two continue to do so.
